隕石剩余磁化的磁場(chǎng)成像和光學(xué)成像
地質(zhì)樣本中的剩余磁化強(qiáng)度記錄了過(guò)去行星磁場(chǎng)的強(qiáng)度和方向。傳統(tǒng)上,這種磁化是通過(guò)測(cè)量尺寸在毫米到厘米的樣品凈磁矩進(jìn)行分析。然而地質(zhì)樣品通常在亞毫米尺寸上具有結(jié)構(gòu)和物質(zhì)的不均勻性,只有小部分鐵磁顆粒具有剩余磁化強(qiáng)度,因此需要高空間分辨率、高磁矩靈敏度的成像技術(shù)。
寬場(chǎng)NV顯微鏡通過(guò)減少金剛石與樣品之間的距離, 能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)磁矩靈敏度10-16 A·m2的探測(cè),能夠應(yīng)用于地質(zhì)、磁隕石的探測(cè)分析中。
